Some Newfoundlanders would believe that Bugs Greene was born with a small accordion in his hands. He also plays fiddle, mandolin and lead guitar. Bugs made his first TV appearance at five and has been performing ever since. You may remember him from playing in dance bands or from his popular cable TV shows over the last several decades. Still being a young fellow himself, he carries Newfoundland music far and wide with his wife Debbie and their friends. Debbie joined the popular performer in 1998 and their son performed for a number of years with them.
Bugs Greene and family play mainly for family audiences, festivals and events throughout Newfoundland, PEI, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and a scattered appearance when the crowds in Florida. In recent years they can be seen entertaining on Marine Atlantic ferries between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
